Under the direction of Dr.
Marsha Torr (left), who served as PI through instrument delivery,
the Ultraviolet Imager was successfully conceived, designed,
developed and tested. Dr. Douglas Torr played a key role in the
success of the UVI through the efforts of the UVI team he headed
at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
