Observation Sequences

The UVI observation sequences are lists of UVI instrument commands. Each observation sequence generates commands to the UVI to record a given number of images using a given filter wheel position, gain setting, and image mode. The list is repeated a given number of times and this comprises a sequence. The sequences are designed based on defined Instrument Configurations to gather images which will enable a certain type of science or analysis to be performed with the data. There is a table of 49 observation sequences available on-board the UVI instrument memory RAM. This table can be modified and uploaded as required. The following table is the latest observation sequence table on-board UVI. The listing includes the Instrument Configuration number which may be used in the UVI query data base.
